Dump out the coffee, and forget about expensive cans of over-caffeinated energy drinks. There is a new, simple way to increase alertness and improve concentration. Simply put a few drops of Nami Naturals Peppermint oil in a diffuser, sit back, and enjoy the minty aroma. The sweet, sharp scent will perk up your senses and reinvigorate your spirit. Don’t have a diffuser? Here’s an idea: 1. Put some rice in a small jar. 2. Add a few drops of peppermint oil. 3. Cover the jar with a cloth (secure with a rubberband), or foil with holes poked in it. (This step is not necessary, but it helps if the jar accidentally gets knocked over.) 4. Enjoy!
100% Pure, Steam Distilled, Therapeutic Grade
We use carefully selected hand picked leaves of the peppermint plant (mentha piperita). Our oil is steam distilled without the use of high pressure or excessive temperatures. When exposed to high temperatures and pressure, many of the beneficial properties of the oil can be damaged or destroyed. Many vitamins are very sensitive to heat, and will easily be damaged at high temperatures. Although it is more time consuming, we choose to use low temperature, low pressure distilling to ensure we end up with the best quality oil with all the therapeutic qualities left intact. Our oil is 100% pure, never diluted. Nothing is added, nothing is removed.
Give Your Body A Boost
Throughout history, peppermint has been known to help the digestive and circulatory system. It is a mild anesthetic, anti-spasmodic, and carminative, and has been used to treat symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), flatulence, indigestion, and nausea. It helps the digestive system by stimulating the flow of digestive juices and bile. Peppermint oil contains a high percentage of menthol, and is an expectorant. Inhalation of the vapors can help clear the respiratory system and reduce the symptoms of congestion, making peppermint a popular ingredient in chest rubs and vapor rubs.
When applied topically, peppermint oil can help reduce or eliminate headaches, including migraines. It is diaphoretic, which helps increase blood circulation to the skin and open the pores to release toxins from the body through sweat. Body aches and pains can also benefit from topical application, although it is advised to avoid broken skin and sensitive areas. It has an immediate cooling effect on the skin, and is often applied to help reduce a fever. In fact, peppermint was traditionally used to treat fevers, colds, and influenza throughout history
Peppermint oil also can help with dental problems. It is antimicrobial, and can help combat the bacteria which cause cavities and gum disease. It also helps combat bad breath. It’s no wonder peppermint is used as an ingredient in many toothpastes, mouthwashes, and gums.

Get Rid Of Unwanted Houseguests
So, this wont prevent your weird Aunt Sally from visiting over the weekend, but you can get rid of other unwanted houseguests easily. Although most humans find the scent of peppermint to be very pleasant and uplifting, smaller critters like mice, spiders, ants, and cockroaches despise the smell. Use the oil to safely and effectively deter pests from your home. With regular use, your home will soon be free of these unwanted houseguests with the added benefit of smelling great! This is a great, non-toxic alternative to traps and poisons. It is effective and safe to use around children and pets.
How To Use:
To freshen up a room, simply add a few drops to a diffuser and enjoy. You can also add a few drops into a spray bottle, fill up with water, give a shake, and spray!
If applying topically, please dilute properly using a carrier oil. Most vegetable oils can be used as a carrier oil, but some of the more popular ones include olive oil, grapeseed oil, sweet almond oil, and coconut oil. We recommend starting with a 1% dilution. You can gradually increase the percentage of peppermint oil to a level you feel comfortable with.
1% dilution = 1 drop essential oil to 1 tsp carrier oil. 5-6 drops per ounce (2 Tbsp). 20-24 drops per 1/2 cup.
Please avoid broken skin, mucous membranes, and sensitive areas. If you accidentally apply essential oils to these areas and it begins to feel uncomfortable, flush the area with a carrier oil, not water.
A few drops in your favorite drink will add a minty flavor and help your digestive system. We recommend hot cocoa or a herbal tea!
